Every now and then we manage to come across something amazing; so truly infinately perfect in our eyes that we wish to have nothing else. Sometimes if we get lucky enough, that something is a somone. I've happened upon that someone and was fortunate enough to get to keep him.

He's got eyes of blue fire that change to a strange orange clear-blue mixture in sunlight and a personality that comes with a plethora of emotions which run extremely deep through his mind. Between his physical appearance and his intellectual emotional mind, there lies something else which few people these days have. It's a heart of pure gold. Sure we could argue the heart and the mind are the same, but they are not, not in him anyway. Not once in a two year period of time has he actually gotten mad at me. That is a very remarkable thing, considering I am...how to put this... an asshole. The man has never once raised his voice to me, now that, that is a sure sign of a person with a heart of gold. Now I won't lie to anyone, he does get mad and may occassionally raise his voice to other people, but never to me. I bet not a damn one of you has ever had a lover not yell at you. This man not only treats me well, but has stated that he would die for me, loves me, and promised that he would NEVER cheat on me. Now a person just doesn't get any better than that. That shows true love, true heart. There are other instances where he has showed his greatness. Once his friend had an 800 dollar check stolen at Wal-mart, my man lent his friend money to help with bills that month.

Every now and then he and I will joke that he's the second coming of Jesus. If I believed in the Jesus thing, I might consider our joking to be true.
His view of love is so different, so perfect, that if Jesus existed he'd be proud.

I'm extremely lucky to have such a wonderful lover. And since I know he'll read this (he'll probably be the only one to read this)I'm going to write what I'm thinking: I love you Nic and I promise to never cheat on you and to always love you and if necessary to die for you as well.
