DA Artists, we're all connected by Deviant Art and our talent, BUT there are more connections that are just baffling.

It may be coincidence, it may be strange timing, but i think it's more. If one constantly refreshes the page to look at the new art flowing in, you will start to figure out that a group of people will seem to submit the same subject of art at the same time as others. It's weird. Today, a few minutes ago in fact, i came across at least 4 poems on the Browse page (submitted within barely even seconds of eachother) that all seemed to have the same theme and they were all by different people. Upon reading those four i realized that they all seemed to have wording that was very similar. True, that could be coincidence, but it happens with other things too. There have been days when people have submitted dragon pictures within just seconds of eachother and once again, they were all by different people who had different skill levels. It happens with anime and anthros too. They usually aren't even the same characters or style, but still the same kind of creature. I just find it extremely odd. It's like everyone thinks alike at the same time. There's been times when it's been certain styles too, such as traditional pencil or particular types of digital work. And i know it's not my computer playing tricks on me. Has anyone else noticed this too?
