Nudity, Blood, Guts, and Poop

This is obvious. Very obvious in fact. If something is bloody, gory, has nudity, or involves poop, it will get rave reviews, comments, :+fav:s, and a spot on the front page of DA. This will sound jealous, maybe even pathetic, but i feel cheated. I'm not saying my stuff is worthy, it needs a lot of work. However, i'm not saying everything that's been uber-faved and given a spot under popular has been good. That's why i feel so ripped off.
I think i need to get some art "victims", take some nudes, and post them. Maybe make them bloody, covered in poop, AND nude. Hell yeah. I wonder what would happen then? lol.

haha i'v thougth the same stuff to.. but then again i realize i dont really care. lol and then the stuf people fav alot it becomes everywhere. people just steal the work or copy it so.. whats the point..

You know how there are lines. And how people loves to see those lines exceeded. I believe nudity, scat and such shouldn't be paid so much attention, yet we find ourselves looking carefully when somebody dies tragically in the news paper.
For some reason, my most faved deviation mocks religion u_u and that wasn't even the intention.
A little like hi666, or myspace... put a pic of a girl in short skirt and you'll get a million comments (though, half of them should be censored in a way that only monsylabate words would show up).
You're doing a good work in here, believe me. :)

I know how you feel. Its stupid. And yeah, most of the 'super fav' pieces just get pirated anyway, so. *shrug*

I always get discouraged being on here, actually, because my stuff is really out there, and its not real tight like the top fav stuff, and I think 'wow, I'll NEVER be that good..." but really, buck up, do the best you can and screw the rest. :) Everyone has to start somewhere, you're doing great.

Maybe so, but then would you really want your work associated with Blood, Guts and poop?
You've got 1,800+ pageviews which is not bad at all. You have some nice drawing, interesting photos of yourself and alot of watchers, can't ask for to much more than that.
