Deadly Living (Hell's Asylum)

Symbolism:
Third eye symbolizes insanity/psychic ability
The third eye is kept open so that it will dry out and become useless
Hooks and lines are torture devices used to over stimulate the senses to blot out thinking
Crown of thorns is a bit of blasphemy because, well, he's supposed to be in Hell
Various lacerations are just that, lacerations caused by torture devices
On the walls there's blood, urine, maybe even poo as well as writing
He has fangs so that his tongue is permanently stuck out (caught on the lower fangs)to prevent him from talking
The tiles are a pretty blue and purple so that the feel of the place is at first misleading to newcomers
The uvula in the throat has a silver ring pierced through it so that if the tongue ever becomes free he won't be able to talk due to constantly being gagged and thusly vomitting
