insanity has found me
how dare i stray
thoughts chase me
and beat me down

i'm scared to sleep
the dreams are chaos
murder and sickness
past and future
spiders on the wall
beatles when i wake

a game plays through my mind
it's replaced the sheep
spoon to spoon
kettle to kettle
oh no a miss
restart

oh the horror of images
predatory urges
death for all
obsessivness
paranoias
plotting all the time

death should be a friend
i'm too arrogant
suicide is beneath me
freedom so far away
peace a delusion
sweet sanity
why do you hide
please save me.

I donno why i just keep rereading that bit like trying to figure it out. It kinda... projects the whole insane feeling you get outta this poem. Think I like that bit the best. But overall a good poem, makes me feel things I haven't felt in a while...

I like it very much. However, and just for a better understanding, can i ask you exactly what does it mean "beetles when i wake"? I take it means horrors when you sleep (the spiders) and as well when you wake. Or am i wrong?

well...actually it's a bit of a problem i have where when i dream i see spiders on the wall and it wakes me up and i'm still able to see those on the wall until i turn on a light. it's happened with dreams of other bugs too (which is where the beatle thing came from).

I understand. So, the poem is even more personal than it shows at first, since it involves actual experiences.
